Regan and Abby: “Paid parental leave is critical to families”

Regan and Abby talked about a hot topic on their Tuesday morning show this week: paid parental leave. Congress is possibly looking at legislation to mandate 12 weeks of paid leave and both Regan and Abby are fierce advocates of paid parental leave.

The women are both working mothers and run businesses and non-profits. Abby’s non-profit, And Then There Were None, offers employees 12 weeks of paid maternity leave following a birth or adoption and offers paid leave for miscarriages as well. This should be the norm, not the exception.

What do you think about paid maternity leave? We would love to have you weigh in on our Facebook page or send us a blog post about your experience.
