Americans will spend just under $1,000 for gifts for family and friends this holiday season, says the National Retail Federation. As we think about the gifts we are showering our loved ones with, there are some companies and organizations that take extra steps to give a portion of sales to charity, to donate needed items to the less fortunate, or to sell items made by trafficking victims who are in recovery.
