Pop star, but most importantly mother, Britney Spears, rightfully pleaded for an end to her conservatorship as she virtually addressed a courtroom on Wednesday, saying, “I just want my life back.”
She went on to provide validated example after example that left us all shocked saying, “it’s embarrassing and demoralizing what I’ve been through …”
Not free to change alone, not free to schedule seeing her boyfriend or children alone, not free to say no to a choreographed move in her show. It’s suffice to say, every waking second of Britney’s day is choreographed and programmed by someone else.
“I’m not lying. I just want my life back. It’s been 13 years, and it’s enough.”
She desperately asked, basically had to plead to a judge for what we all our entitled to, freedom: “It’s my wish and my dream for this all to end.”
Listen below for the entire audio from Britney’s revealing court hearing yesterday. She’s never sounded more coherent, grounded and sure about what she wants and most importantly deserves.
